This Government-owned electricity distribution and retail company services consumer and business customers across four states in Australia.

Energy Co. sought to address a historic lack of enterprise architecture and IT governance through the establishment of an Enterprise Architecture capability and the delivery of a foundation blueprint to govern by. 

Deliverables produced included:

• Established an internal Enterprise Architecture function defining team structure, roles and accountabilities.
• Defined the EA operating model and relationships to other business and technology stakeholders.
• Delivered the key baseline blueprint artefacts within the enterprise architecture.
• Established and populated an Enterprise Architecture Repository providing single source knowledge of business systems, processes and technology.

The engagement assisted the client in establishing an internal capability with the hallmarks of Enterprise Architecture best practices.  It established a means for governing the efforts of system integrators and maintaining alignment with target blueprints and increased awareness of IT Governance across business and technology staff.
