Enterprise Architects (EA) is proud to announce that Kristian Hanlon will be joining the firm’s Sydney office. Kristian was formerly the National Delivery Manager for SMS Management and Technology where he was responsible for more than 500 consultants across Australia, Singapore and the Philippines. He brings to EA a unique mix of experience and mindset to evolve and lead EA’s delivery of Strategy, Architecture and Design services in Australia and internationally through EA’s international brand FromHereOn.

When asked about his new role Kristian commented “Taking a design-led, human-centred approach to complex business problems is without doubt in vogue – the problem is that solutions are rarely implemented as intended and integrated as required because they are designed in a proverbial vacuum. Designers need to do more than empathise with people, they need to understand the current state of the business, the capabilities that exist and the intricacies of delivering a strategy. Similarly, the business needs to integrate design-led approaches right at the start of their strategy development. This ensures the inputs and outputs align creating a more seamless engagement from start to finish, and avoid design thinking as an afterthought where it’s value can be significantly diminished. What is exciting about working with EA is that their Business Design approach iteratively bridges the gap between strategy and execution – something large organisations have been losing sleep over”.

Mac Lemon, Managing Director at EA said “Following two years of sustained growth and the evolution of our unique fusion of architecture and design, Kristian brings the experience needed to scale our practice to the next level. Kristian’s experience of human centred design and strategic architecture and planning is rare. This is a great strategic hire for EA.”
