From showing colleagues in the mid 80s how to use the PC that had just arrived on their desk, to designing and overseeing enterprise change programmes, Helen has been creating and sharing knowledge to help people do their work.

Her light burns bright when she can take a small group of people on a journey to mastery and skillful capability. She is a consummate Learning and Development professional.

Helen has taught in places and situations that vary from lecturing at university, teaching English in a Japanese High School, and teaching or coaching people in their work place.

Helen holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology along with a Master in Information Management and Systems. She is also qualified with Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training

Helen has always had a passion for learning and sharing knowledge, this is apparent in the roles she has undertaken in her career. Helen orientates to ‘learning experiences’ rather than ‘training’.

In whatever situation she teaches, she applies different ways to engage with knowledge and creates fun and constructive learning experiences. She has acquired a reputation for translating theory into practical ways to apply the knowledge.

I was lucky enough to experience one of Helen’s lectures during my course at Monash University. For an individual such as myself, who has very little background in the Knowledge Management and IT field, Helen’s lecture was of immense value.
